This is a list of what was available the last time we updated this page. All birds here are subject to prior sale.
Specials
- Ayam cemani hens – 2+ years old. These are not great layers even as pullets. The hens are still laying some, but I have young ones to replace these, so selling them to anyone that wants a really, really black chicken. $30 each, 4 for $100. (10 available)
- Pilgrim Geese – trio of fully grown yearlings, 1 male and 2 females $80 total
Peafowl
- India Blue Peachicks – hatched 8/25. Straight run, $60 each (4 available)
- India Blue Peacock – about a year old. $120 (1 male available)
Chickens
Older chickens (no longer chicks)
- Cochin Bantams – Cockerels $5. Year plus hens, $10 to $20 each. Pullets, various colors, some frizzled, $15 to 30 each.
- Blue Copper Marans pullets – 2 for $100 (4 total available) These are a hybrid, Lavender Marans x Blue Copper Marans. Their mother is a beautiful lavender color and lays very well, but her eggs have a matte surface and are slightly lighter than the the typical Copper Marans eggs, that are glossy and darker. My hope with the hybrids is to get the eggs more like the Coppers, while getting better productivity from hybrid vigor. The blue pullets are surplus from my breeding program because the blue and lavender genes can create poor feather color when both are expressed, so I am avoiding that in my breeding program.
